Our friends over at Beautiful Decay have just totally revamped their site adding some great new interactive features for a real community feel. If you want to know what’s what in the art world – the trendiest event in your town, the gallery to explore on your next urban adventure - this is pretty much THE place to be. In addition to the Public Feed, which allowed visitors to post their own content, the site now lets you post your own events in the Events section. Considering the kind of patronage BD attracts, this is a perfect way for artists to promote their shows and get their work out there. This accessibility to a sometimes pretentious or even slightly unapproachable world is exactly what has made all of BD’s ventures so successful. Their youthful and informed approach to traditional high art and the pairing of that world with graffiti, graphic design, music, and fashion has made it much more relevant to a young, design savvy audience. Plus, the site looks just as good as it sounds and they make some hot ass t-shirts! So do yourself a favor: get your mind right and go get some culture at www.beautifuldecay.com.
P.S. we’ll be getting some of BD’s finest designs in the shop in a few weeks so check back sucka.

Now THAT’S what I’d call an interesting take on things. What I would advise perhaps is talking to other people involved in the scene and bring to day any other points of view and then update or create a new article for us to stew over. I hope you’ll take my ideas, I’m looking forward to it! Try to cover off on some graffiti characters as well if possible, they’re everywhere at the moment.
