I got into a bit of a political rant a couple days ago and it reminded of a company I heard about during New York’s Fashion Week. Started by Australian, Jonathan Pease and American, Jesse Margolis, Tight Knickers play devil’s advocate using fashion as a political messaging medium. The “I Fear Americans” tee shown below was made before 9/11 and it shows these cats really know what’s going on these days. The good news is that not only do these guys hit you with an intriguing, intelligent political commentary but their shirts are cut to perfection with the best material money can buy. Now if we can only get the democrats to grow some balls and stop giving Bush billions of dollars to support the war in Iraq. I guess for now, we’ll just have to enjoy these crazy tshirts.
